Blake Lauren Geary

Blake began her yoga practice at 17 in a sweaty Hot Yoga class in Corpus Christi. Incentivized by a Groupon and an anxious mind and body — she spent Thursdays at 6pm looking at the clock in between asanas, praying for the end of class while slipping around on a mat in a small garage with 20 strangers and 4 space heaters. She had to remember to breathe. The mental and physical challenge kept her begrudgingly going back and eventually trying different Hatha and Vinyasa classes. 15 years later — class is over in a flash, and she relishes the opportunity to breathe into each posture.

Life and dharma led her to explore the benefits of a plant-based diet, meditation, breath work, pilates, reiki and sound healing as a means to heal and strengthen the body, quiet the mind, transmute grief and live in value-alignment.

In her practices, you can expect intention setting, feel-good flows for both beginners and intermediate practitioners, intuitive stretching and deep, restorative shavasana.

Blake Lauren Geary is currently not instructing any classes.
