Ellen-Marie Leach

My passion for Pilates all began on the hardwood floor of a youthful ballet class, followed by years of modern dance. I believe it was the rigorous training and focus on precision and technique that gave me the foundation in movement and posture that has helped me become the kind of fitness trainer, I am today. In 2015, and while living in Harrismith, South Africa, I discovered Pilates classes and was hooked, I became a Certified Pilates Trainer that next year, eventually opening my first Pilates studio in Harrismith and now here in beautiful New Braunfels. It is a part of my daily lifestyle and a compliment to my body being a mother of 3 beautiful children Tristan, Tamzyn and Kaylin. Pilates has become my go to fitness routine that marries nicely with my other fitness methods and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. 


Ellen-Marie Leach instructs the following:
  • Intermediate Reformer Class Level 1.5
  • Level 1.5 This class is next step for Pilates Reformer clients who will experience a mixed level and steady flow of the reformer and how to quickly adjust for exercises while providing modifications, progressions and regressions to accommodate varying levels of the mind body movement.

  • Beginner: Reformer Flow/Level 1
  • Beginner: Reformer Flow/Level 1

    This class offers a unique mix of traditional and contemporary Pilates exercises while moving at a slower pace focusing on balance, flexibility and core strength.
    (light weights, magic circle, EXO chair may be used during class at the instructors discretion)

  • Intermediate: Reformer Power Mix/Level 2

     Intermediate: Reformer Power Mix/Level 2

    Prepare to elevate your Pilates practice with our Power mix class. This class operates at a moderate tempo using a repertoire of advanced Pilates exercises bringing your session to the next level by pushing your boundaries and intensifying your workout.
    (Weights, EXO chair, jumpboard, Barre and floor mat may be used at instructors discretion)


     


  • PILATES FOR SCOLIOSIS
  • PILATES FOR SCOLIOSIS.
     
    This class is especially  geared for client with Osteo Scoliosis.

    While Pilates may not cure or fix Scoliosis, it will improve posture, elongate the Spine, and uniformly develop tissue. This Spine centered approach to movement makes Pilates an ideal modality for individuals with Scoliosis.
     
     

  • Pilates Mat Full Body Workout
  • Therapy classes focus on activating and strengthening the deep core and stabilizing muscles. This is to establish a strong and conditioned base so that you can enjoy pain-free movement and continuing with the sports you love.
